ViewScibe is easy to use as it integrates with Windows Media Player. It lets you use any word processing software for transcribing.

ViewScribe integrates with Windows Media Player
You can use all the controls, capabilities and features present in Windows Media Player, without needing to learn a new program.
You can also use ViewScribe with the word processing application of your choice. You can transcribe using a full featured work processing application such as Microsoft Word, a simple text editor such as Notepad, or even directly to the web using web browsers.
Foot Pedal Support

Foot pedal for playback control
ViewScribe provides support for USB foot pedals (including Infinity IN-USB-1, ECS IN-USB, VEC, VPedal, X-Keys and compatibles) allowing you to have hands-free payback control. Configuration is plug-and-play. ViewScribes works directly with the foot pedals without requiring installation of any device-drivers.
Even if you don't have a foot pedal, you can still benefit from ViewScribe - all the functions are exposed through the user-interface.
Multiple Audio/Video Formats
ViewScribe lets you transcribe all media formats supported by Windows Media Player, including .wav, .mp3, .asf, .wma, .wmv, .wm, .wma, .asx, .wax, .wvx, .wpl, .dvr-ms and many more.
You can also transcribe DVDs or audio CDs directly.

Multiple playback speeds
The playback rate can be changed easily - you can change it from 0.25X to 4.0X using the intutive slider-bar, or with the foot pedal.

ViewScribe is there when you need it, and gets out of the way when you dont.

ViewScribe works with Media Player in compact mode
You can hide or minimize the ViewScribe pane, or use Media Player in 'compact mode' when transcribing audio.

Enabling ViewScribe
The ViewScribe pane, once closed, can be easily re-opened. Select Now Playing tab, and click the Now Playing Options buttons, point to Plug-ins, and then click ViewScribe Media Transcriber.
